Step by step
Our PPF installation process
- 01InspectionWe look over every panel under studio lighting and note existing chips, scratches, swirls and repaints, so you know exactly what the film will cover.
- 02Wash & decontaminationA careful hand wash, then iron-fallout remover and clay to pull out bonded grit. Film only sticks properly to perfectly clean paint.
- 03Correction, if neededFilm locks in whatever is under it. If the paint has swirls or haze, we polish it first — quoted separately so you can decide.
- 04InstallationFilm is fitted panel by panel with a slip solution, squeegeed out by hand, and edges are wrapped where the panel allows so lines are hard to spot.
- 05CuringThe adhesive needs time to bond. The car stays indoors while it sets, and we ask you to wait about a week before the first wash.
- 06WalkthroughWe go over the coverage with you under the lights and explain aftercare before you drive off.

We install Skygloss paint protection film: a 7.5-mil, optically clear, self-healing urethane film whose top layer lets fine scratches fade with heat from the sun or warm water. It comes with a 7-year warranty, and your quote spells out the warranty terms.

Aftercare
A few habits keep the result looking new for longer. We go over all of this at pickup.
- Wait about a week before the first wash so the adhesive can fully bond.
- Hand wash with a pH-neutral soap, and skip automatic washes with brushes.
- Keep a pressure washer at least 12 inches from film edges.
- Let the sun or warm water heal light marks in the top layer.
- Rinse off bird droppings and bug splatter within a day or two.
- Add a ceramic coating over the film to make washing even easier.

Is PPF worth it on a daily driver?

Do you correct the paint before installing film?
