What is SkyGloss?
SkyGloss (SkyGloss, Inc.) makes paint protection film, coatings and paint-care products, sold and applied through a network of certified shops. Its approach is what it calls “Factory Forever”: keep a car’s clearcoat, the clear top layer that gives paint its gloss and UV resistance, as close to new as possible instead of polishing it thinner every few years.

How thick is SkyGloss PPF?
SkyGloss lists its paint protection film at 7.5 mil (190 microns), in gloss and matte finishes. The top layer is self-healing: light scratches fade with heat from the sun or warm water.
What’s the difference between SkyGloss PPF and a SkyGloss coating?
